LC100v1 Pedals Review – The Load-Cell Set That Punches Above Its Weight
Today we take a close look at the CAMMUS LC100 pedals, a surprisingly capable three-pedal set that promises premium performance at a mid-range price.
Let’s see if this heavy steel setup can hold its own against more established names like Fanatec and Thrustmaster.
⚙️ Construction & Design
The CAMMUS LC100 pedals come as a three-pedal set mounted on a rolled-steel baseplate. You can feel the quality the moment you lift it — this thing is solid.
Each pedal module is fully modular, so you can use them:
- Mounted on the included baseplate, or
- Individually attached to your existing rig’s pedal deck.
When used with the CAMMUS baseplate, you can adjust the spacing between the pedals horizontally, although pedal faces are fixed.
The brake features a 100 kg load cell, while both accelerator and clutch use Hall sensors for precise input.
💡 Design Impression
The look is purposeful rather than flashy — industrial, serious, and functional. The color-coded springs, bold CAMMUS logo, and large pedal faces give it a professional touch without unnecessary bling.

It’s hardware that looks like it means business.
🧱 Build Quality
Build quality is where CAMMUS really impressed me.
Everything is metal, tightly assembled, and sturdily finished.
However, there are a few small quirks worth noting:
⚠️ Controller Box
The small control module that connects the pedals has no proper mounting option.
You can secure it with double-sided tape, but a dedicated mounting bracket would have been cleaner and safer.
⚠️ Baseplate
The baseplate itself is thick and well-built, rivaling those from major sim-rig brands.
But…
- The nuts on the underside prevent it from sitting flush on a flat surface.
- Its large size can conflict with some rigs — I had to modify my SimXpro mount to make it fit.
- The smooth finish picks up heel marks easily when driving with shoes. A textured or powder-coated surface would have helped here.

These are small complaints, but worth mentioning if you plan to integrate the set into an existing rig.
🔧 Configuration & Adjustability
Here’s where CAMMUS truly flexes its engineering muscles.
🏎️ Accelerator & Clutch
Both use adjustable spring systems combined with washers to fine-tune pedal travel and resistance.

Each can also be mounted to alternate points on the arm and rear bracket, changing leverage and feel.
🛑 Brake System
The brake pedal is the real highlight — and perhaps the most configurable I’ve tested in this price range.
It features:
- Load-cell pressure sensor
- Hydraulic preload adjustment
- Brake damper for progressive resistance
You can tune it for:
- Short, stiff travel for competitive racing
- Longer, squishier motion for road-car feel

All parameters can be calibrated easily through the CAMMUS software, which is simple and intuitive to use.
🧠 Driving Feel & Performance
Setting them up took the longest of any pedal set I’ve tested — but once dialed in, the results were excellent.
🚀 Accelerator
Responsive, smooth, and consistent. Nothing exotic, just solid performance.
🛞 Brake Pedal
A standout feature.
The load cell is precise and progressive, and the damper adds realistic resistance. It was incredibly easy to find and hold a consistent braking point — muscle memory kicks in naturally.
⚙️ Clutch
While not as degressive or detailed as Fanatec’s V3 clutch, it still feels satisfying and immersive, especially in titles like BeamNG.

⏱️ Lap Times
Lap times in Assetto Corsa Competizione were roughly on par with the Fanatec CSL LC pedals.
In later testing with a new wheelbase, I even shaved half a second compared to my Fanatec V3s.
Consistency was also excellent — a sign of well-balanced pedal feel.
💻 Compatibility
Just like the CAMMUS wheelbases, the LC100 pedals are PC-only.
There’s no console support yet — something to consider if you’re running Xbox or PlayStation setups.
💰 Price & Value
At $259 USD / ~€240, the LC100 pedals sit right between the Thrustmaster and Fanatec mid-range options.
✅ Pros:
- Excellent materials and solid build
- Fantastic adjustability
- Highly accurate brake feel
- Great performance for the money
❌ Cons:
- Heavy, oversized baseplate
- No proper mounting for controller box
- PC-only compatibility
- Smooth steel plate picks up marks easily

🏁 Final Verdict
The CAMMUS LC100 pedals deliver exceptional value and race-ready precision at a very fair price.
They aren’t the prettiest or lightest, but they’re built to perform.
“You can’t eat off a pretty plate — it’s the contents that matter.”
And in this case, the contents — especially that brake pedal — are absolutely worth it.
If CAMMUS offered a smaller or optional baseplate, this could easily be one of the best pedal sets under €300 today.
